Well, with only days remaining before the Memorial Day weekend, ski season is almost over here in Colorado. I had a stellar day enjoying incredible spring ski conditions at Arapahoe Basin last week, the lone remaining ski resort still open. There’s still plenty of snow up in the backcountry, with several feet of snow still being reported in the high peaks. It was such a great winter, I’m sort of in mourning over the end of skiing. I think that makes me a bit of an oddity, especially with my east coast friends, but I just love the snow and love winter recreation. Oh well, on to summer, hiking and camping….
